A spiritually cleansing adventure trip, that includes all of the highlights of the Sacred Valley & more. Explore the essential highlights of Peru’s Amazing Sacred Valley. This stunning trip includes some of Peru’s best sights, including the Sacred Valley tour and Machu Picchu. You’ll visit small villages with cobblestone alleys, handicraft markets, workshops, and ancient sites built by the Inca. There are many ruins to see in the Valley, each with its own unique story and architecture. You’ll have the chance to experience some of the best horseriding in the valley; then learn how to cook your own Peruvian plates! Cleanse your spiritual self with a yoga & meditation session before going on to explore the magnificent Incan Citadel of Machu Picchu. The journey begins and ends in Cusco or Lima, which is connected by flight from Lima (1 hour). You can easily combine this trip with a few days in Cusco, plus a day or two in Lima.

¡ Bienvenidos ! Welcome to Perú. Lima is Peru's largest city and central metropolitan hub and home to one-third of the country's population. Depending on your time of arrival you have the option of staying in Lima for your first night or transferring directly to Cusco. Settle into your hotel before heading out to explore Miraflores & Barranco. With some of the world's top restaurants and an eclectic mix of culinary styles, there is no shortage of delightful and exciting dining options. Take a short domestic flight to Cusco and stay in the cultural main centre to explore the historic sights this wonderful city has to offer with your own specially organised City tour. You'll leave your hotel in Cusco around 8:30 am for your drive into the Sacred Valley en route to Pisac , a village known for its traditional market and immense Inca fortress. During our visit, you'll have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos as you pass terraces, irrigation canals, and picturesque mountain views. In the afternoon, you'll depart for the town of Ollantaytambo , which contains some of the best-preserved Inca architecture in the entire Sacred Valley. You’ll walk around the Inca Fortress and ceremonial site of Ollantaytambo , marveling at these extraordinarily well-preserved ruins. Set around a tranquil plaza, renowned for its peaceful charm. The little-altered layout of the town offers an unprecedented peek into the way of life of its past peoples, the Incas. Even the street names are the original one from ancient times. If you don't have much experience riding, or don't have much time available, it's not a problem! We have prepared several options for short but very fun and restorative walks around the city. You could see the Urubamba River up close, climb the Pumahuanca, the tutelar apu, see the remains of the Huayna Capac castle or reach the colonial temples of Yucay. We take care of everything, you just have to enjoy. The main attraction lies in the beautiful views that are offered to us when following the “Camino Real” parallel to the Vilcanota River (Urubamba). In addition to traveling a different path there and back. The return road crosses the area of ​​“San José de Media Luna” known for its beautiful view of the northwest part of Urubamba, where rural images, wonderful views and the Urubambina countryside in all its splendor intermingle. In the morning, you'll undertake a cooking class where participants can learn to prepare classic Peruvian dishes such as Lomo Saltado. In order to find ingredients for the meal prepared at the restaurant by Chef Diego, who is renowned for his proficiency in Peruvian cooking, the experience also includes a visit to the local market in Urubamba. It's a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture and culinary traditions. Leaving Ollantaytambo train station in the mid-morning (11 am) you’ll take a stunning train journey through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes where you’ll meet up with your guide once more. Stopping for lunch at a restaurant in Aguas Calientes , you'll then go to check into your hotel. With the afternoon free to explore Aguas Calientes and soak in the Hot Springs, in readiness for your exploration of Machu Picchu the following day. Today, early in the morning you'll catch the bus up to Machu Picchu . It is a 25-minute bus ride to the sanctuary (2400 m). Your guide will lead you in an exploration and discovery of the many corners of this enigmatic Incan citadel. The guided tour will have an average duration of 2 hours. If you feel like an uphill challenge, you have the option to climb the infamous mountain of Huayna Picchu . It is important to know that to climb this mountain, you need to buy a separate ticket in advance. There will be plenty of time for pictures, after which you'll take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to catch your train back to Ollantaytambo where our private transportation will be waiting to drive you back to Cusco . Today is your last day in Cusco , Peru! You will be met at your hotel for a transfer to Cusco Airport, where you will take a domestic flight to Lima to transfer to your homeward-bound flight. It's never goodbye, only until next time! Meals included: Breakfast
