Festivities
During this month Peru hosts one of the largest religious processions in the world, The Procession of the Lord of Miracles. The procession takes place in Lima every year, as hundreds of thousands of pilgrims descend on the city center to attend this event.
This is a day when people will worship the Lord of Miracles, this is a painting of Jesus Christ created in the 17th century by an African slave from Angola.
In addition to enjoying this unique cultural experience, you can also try the typical dishes prepared for the procession, such as mazamorra morada and doña pepa nougat.
